BIO:

Thank you, Brazos County, for allowing me to serve you for several years now.  My wife Ashley, and sons, Lute and Steed, have been welcomed warmly in the community, and I cannot thank you enough for the guests and friends who make our work special.  I have worked in the Hospitality Industry for 15 years now, and I’m now proud to have a home in our local food community.  Managing a few popular Regional chains in my early career, such as Cotton Patch and Brazos Cattle Co. taught me to value our regional customer base, as well as appreciate Southern cuisine.  I took a break from restaurants for a few years and could not find the same passion and enthusiasm that I have enjoying serving food to guests, so I could not wait to find a place to fulfill my life-long dream as a restaurateur.

PHILOSOPHY:

The first opportunity I received to open my own restaurant was Stover Boys Burgers, and my life has not been the same since.   After expanding our initial business idea, I wanted to use my prior training to restore Square One and usher in a new concept, and I am happy that I had the opportunity to attempt such a task.  My goal has always been to provide local diners with fun new concepts and to be bolder in my food offerings.

Stover Bros Café is collaborative idea between successful local business owner Jim Lewis and me.  We are taking the experience of eating “edgy” new items and making it more of an everyday experience.   Our back-ground in customer service allows us to make the café experience more about what you want, and we are always growing and changing to adapt to your tastes.
